The Alpha Trace® S5 boot is completely manufactured in PU, which makes it light, comfortable and flexible in every activity.
Designed to be used in the most extreme environments, this boot is resistant to oils, greases, acids, and solvents ensuring also excellent thermal insulation down to -40°C / -40°F.

|These boots prevent heat loss and offer outstanding thermal properties. Thanks to its unique recipe and molecular structure, the boots assure excellent cold insulation down to -20 °C. The CI (cold insulation) classification also means that the upper surface of the insole should not exceed 10 °C after 30 minutes.|
|Shoe sole resistance to hot contact up to 300 °C.|
|The outsole is oil resistant, which prevents the boot surface from being damaged by the adverse effects of oily substances.|
|These boots feature energy absorption on the heel region which reduces the impact to the foot while walking preventing and minimizing the risk of injuries.|

Slip resistant | SRC
|SRC CERTIFIED SLIP RESISTANCY | The boots classified as SCR meet the most demanding requirements for slip resistance as they satisfy both SRA and SRB classifications. SRA refers to slip resistancy on ceramic tile floors covered with detergent and SRB refers to slip resistancy on steel floors covered with glycerine.|

|The S5 classification is the most demanding category regarding protective features for safety footwear. The boots with S5 classification are particularly equipped with a protective steel toe cap and midsole and cleated outsole. Other protective features include antistatic properties, slip resistance, resistance to fuel oil and energy absorption of the heel region. The boots are tested and certified in accordance with the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard. The S5 certification includes all the same features of S4 footwear with the added benefit of midsole penetration resistance.|

They are tested and certified in accordance with the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard, as they are able to protect not only the toes from impacts of an energy level up to 200 J and a compression load up to 15 kN but also the foot sole from penetration up to a force of 1100 N.|
